Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Charlie Burgess Shepherd

Thank you for your service and for helping to make America a safer place.

Deputy Brian Jones
Boulder County Sheriff's Office, CO

Deputy Sheriff Shepherd, I used to hear many wonderful stories about you from your wife at the Ramblers Rest when I was growing up. She was very proud of you and quite the lady in her own right. Your children became respected members of the community and were proud of you as well. You will never be forgotten. Thank you, sir.

Respectful Citizen

Your heroism and service is honored today, the seventy-first anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service to my home state and the birthplace of my son. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.
