Your heroism and service is honored today, the 76th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Rest In Peace.

Patrolman Scott,
On today, the 71st anniversary of your murder, I would like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Memphis. It took another year, but your murderer got the justice that he deserved.

Brother Scott,
May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
And the rains fall soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Respectfully,
You’re Brothers in Blue

I wish your killing was a thing of the past but sadly it is not. I hope your friends and family have learned to live with it and rest assured that my colleagues and yours will not let the thin blue line break in memory of you.
