Reflections for Special Agent Arthur James Sanderson

Agent Sanderson,
On today, the 90th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country-not just as a Law Enforcement Officer but also when you served with the U.S. Coast Guard during World War I.

It is said that agents of the Prohibition Bureau had a reputation for being "inept and corrupt, and agents were viewed as a public menace." As I read this agent's actions, I don't think that the statement is accurate. Agent Sanderson you laid your life so those children can live.
And today 11/13/2019, almost 87 years later, I say thank you. Those children, although they themselves have proably passed away by now, most likely lived a long fruitful life because you died in their place.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 79th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Your memory will always be honored and revered as time never diminishes respect.

Rest In Peace
