Reflections for Patrolman Samuel Rosenfeld

Hello All.... I’m looking for some information on Patrolman Rosenfeld. He may have been my Great Uncle... And was possibly the older brother (or father) to my Aunt Florence.. (who I believe her maiden name was Rosenfeld) (and from what I was told was Miss Bronx back in the day if that helps) was married to my uncle Irving Katz and at the time lived in Franklyn Square NY. If anyone knows if Sam was related to a Florence Can you please let me know... I have a picture of a Samuel Rosenfeld in an NYPD uniform.. I love to know more.

Thank you all for your time..
Respectfully;
Marc

Officer Rosenfeld was my great-grandfather. He left behind his wife and three little boys. My grandfather was the middle one. It’s lovely to see this memorial page for him. Thank you so much.

Patrolman Rosenfeld,

You are a true hero. May G-d bless you and your family. It's ironic that we share the same last name. Rest in Peace.

To the Family of Officer Rosenfeld:
I wanted to offer my sympathies on your senseless murder. You were taken away from your loved ones, community and fellow police officers. Your courage and bravery make you a true hero and there should be more reflections left for you. My dad was one of NYPDs finest for almosy 40 years working out of the 102 precinct. Rest in peace officer Rosenfeld and Olav Hashalom.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 91rst anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service to the state of California. My cherished son Larry was a fellow peace officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg police officer.

Rest In Peace.

Patrolman Rosenfeld,
On today, the 91st anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of New York City. It took another 10 months, but your murderer finally got the justice that he deserved.
