Your heroism and service is honored today, the 85th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
I was saddened to see that Christmas Day is the eow for so many, many officers. Rest In Peace.

Chief... Your legacy lives on. I worked in Mandan in the mid 70's and was told how you walked to the home where you were shot while your partner changed a flat on the squad. Some Christmas that must of been for your family. Rest in Peace Chief, I hope to meet you when my time comes.
