Reflections for Officer Joseph Allen
While your assailants were never caught they surely faced a higher court and justice at a later time. Thank you for your service and please know that no passage of time will ever erase your memory or your sacrifice. Rest In Peace always.

Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.
Thank you for your heroism.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 105th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace

Officer Allen - Last Friday, I stood in the State Assembly chamber when your name was one of almost 250 others read off during a motion regarding next month's Police Memorial Week. You are not forgotten. Next May 15th we shall wear our mourning bands in memory of you all. Thank you for your service to the people of Fort Collins and the state of Colorado. May God grant you eternal rest and may His perpetual light shine upon you.

We have lost two officers in our history and both are remembered and honored by our department and community. With our new police building, the surrounding streets will be named in honor of Officers Brockman and Allen. Let them never be forgotten!

Dear Officer Allen,
May you rest in peace knowing that you, nor your service, will ever be forgotten. I have had the honor of working hand in hand with those of Fort Collins PD, and I know they are proud of you. Thanks.
