Patrolman Roache, it has been 95 years since you were taken from us. I have a number of friends on or retired from the Nashua Police and you would be proud of the agency it has become.

New Hampshire law enforcement has continued to thrive, learn and become safer due to the traditions and sacrifices you, your family, and many others have made for us. Thank you for your law enforcement service.

Though it's small consolation that you delivered justice to your murderer prior to your death, it does not bring you back to those you knew and loved you best. Your service to two separate cities in two separate nations is honored here.

We can only hope that your memory was fully kept alive by those who survived you.

God Bless and may your eternal rest be ever peaceful, Brother.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 85th anniversary year of your death. I am privileged to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.
