I hope any suspect involved in your murder was tried and faced the justice they deserved prior to getting their certain ultimate justice at a later time and in a different place. Rest in peace always and know that no passage of time will ever erase your service and sacrifice.

Officer Reuschle, you policed in a time I've only read about but the men and women of the NYPD continue to hold the thin blue line. You are not forgotten.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 88th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
