Your heroism and service is honored today, the 57th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
Rest In Peace.

As September 11th, 2011 approaches, I am compelled to remember those who have given the ultimate sacrifice while protecting the thin blue line. Today I remember you Sergeant Repass. On September 11th, 2001 I was serving on the VPD when terror struck our country. I witnessed, from my living room in Victoria, as countless local Police Officers and Fire/EMS ran into certain death to serve and protect those in the pentagon, trade center, and citzens in harms way. Having worn the VPD badge myself, I have much respect for your sacrifice Sergeant, and that sacrifice made daily by all local LEOs. Thank you, Sergeant for your sacrifice.

I grew up in Victoria and remember very well when you lost your life in the line of duty. It was a big shock because Victoria was (and still is) the sort of place where things like that so rarely happen. God bless you and thank you for your service to the community.

I stop by this website often after the death of two dear friends with the NCSHP (Troopers Calvin Taylor E.O.W. October 3, 2001 and Anthony Cogdill E.O.W. May 30, 2003).
We all grieve over the lives lost in the line of duty. I hope you can find some comfort knowing that there are countless prayers that go out for your family.
Sergeant Repass, you are remembered on this date of your death. You will always be remembered.
God Bless the men and women who continue to serve their communities in our great Nation.
