Reflections for Patrolman Charles J. Redders, Sr.
Tonight I participated in the first inaugural Sea of Blue for Memphis officers killed in the line of duty. My car was dedicated to Officer Redder with his name and end of watch date displayed on both sides of my car.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 80th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Your sacrifice was made so many years ago. Time never diminishes respect. Rest In Peace
