I still think of you Ed, you were such a good man but most and foremost a good father, excellent grandfather and the perfect husband to your beautiful wife Jackie...I know that they still miss you very much. Watch over us Arizona Rebel, until we meet again.

Ed-
I have never met you, but obviously something runs in our family. My mother was your first cousin. I will always remember the day my grandpa told us about the loss in our family. Rest in peace, and I'm still patrolling the streets, just far far away. Gods speed!

Sixteen years ago today we lost you at the hands of a coward.
I can't believe it's been that long, you are missed and you will always be remembered.
Rest easy hero, your crusade against evil continues through us, your brothers behind the badge.

Ed, I just wanted to say thank you and that I think about the lessons learned from this incident. Your roadside memorial reminds me everytime I pass by to be a little more careful on the nights I think everything is "routine". God Bless you for your sacrafice to the citizens of this state.

Ed Rebel was a cops, cop, he loved doing what he did and he did it very well.
I still remember when he would be the airplane spotter during speed details in District 9 area 3.
Not very many speeders got away from him.
It was a pleasure working with him and an honor to have known someone of his caliber.
He was and still is in my mind a true hero.
A retired police officer.
