Reflections for Patrolman James Albey

yesterday marked the 114th year since your tragic death which ended your short career and sadly your even shorter marriage. Your wife must have been devastated as I am sure the rest of your family was.
Today we remember you as the Officer who defiantly put Service above Self.. your bravery will live on forever and you will never be forgotten.
Rest in peace Patrolman Albey.

You are remembered as a hero in your extended family. You were married to my Great Aunt and a part of our family even if only for a short time.

You protected my home town long before I lived there. I wish I could have been there to help you out that day.
