Dear Julius,
I know of your heroic efforts and courage because I am the sister of your son, Julius Dalton, and daughter of your wife, Grace. My mom remarried 12 years after your death and I am the only child and daughter of her marriage to Marcellus Pleasant. I want you to know that you were never forgotten in our family and your name will always be remembered and written in history. Thank you for your selfless action attempting to stop the unruly and ugly behavior of those drunk men and trying to protect the innocent who were close by.

Daughter of Grace Alberson Pleasant
