Agent Purvis, on this 87th anniversary of your death, I wish to thank you for doing a job that was unpopular and yet at the time, was necessary. To go out day in and day out making the effort showed true heroism. How tragic that you lost your life doing it.
Thank you for your service to this nation in all the capacities you did and may you be resting comfortably in Heaven. You earned your rest. God Bless you, Brother.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 84th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
