Your heroism and service is honored today, the 79th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

1933 was a long time ago. Thanks to this site and thanks to those of the NYSP, you've not been forgotten. The circumstances of your passing are especially tragic in that, there appears no real explaination, but it was while you were doing your duty that it happened. You were doing what was right and doing it faithfully. God Bless you and may you rest in peace.
