Your heroism and service is honored today, the 85th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Officer Henry G. Puffer was my Great Uncle. My Father, who was born in 1929 (Henry Gordon Puffer) was named after Officer Henry Puffer. I had heard through the family that my Great Uncle had been killed in the line of duty, but never knew all of the details. The complete story of what happened has filled in the mystery of what happened. This memorial been a blessing and may God bless Henry G. Puffer in his eternal rest.
