Your heroism and service is honored today, the 87th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Thank you for your service to the hunters and citizens of Virginia. It is often forgotten how dangerous the job of a game warden is. Almost all the people a game warden comes across are armed! Although you passed long before I became a hunter and law enforcement officer myself, your dedication and sacrifice is why Virginia is such a great state to hunt in and reside.
