Your heroism and service is honored today, the 55th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

You gave your life to help a brother in trouble. There is no other action that displays more honor and nobility than the sacrifice you made for a brother officer. You deserve more recognition than just a few lines of gratitude, you deserve more than any of us could ever give. Rest easy my brother and watch over us all as we continue the fight.
