Your heroism and service is honored today, the 76th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

I come to this site regularly and today your profile came up. I was saddened to read of the circumstances regarding your death. I had heard the story in the past, but today I seen your photograph. Rest in peace knowning you are gone, but not forgotten. There are many of us carrying on your duties and protecting this fine city. To your family I am truly sorry. Take comfort that there is no nobler profession than that of a police officer.
