Selfless and heroic are the words that immediately come to mind. Rest in peace always knowing that your service and sacrifice will never, ever be forgotten by your law enforcement brethren.

Although I have left a previous reflection to honor you, I wanted to share my admiration for the reserve officer who donated a significant amount of his lottery winnings to your family. You must have been truly admired for another man to do this amazing act of compassion and caring.

You are remembered today.
