Your heroism and service is honored today, the 90th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

IT IS NOT OFTEN THAT POLICE KILLERS ARE NOT BROUGHT BEFORE THE BAR OF JUSTICE. IN THIS CASE THE PERSONS RESPONSIBLE WERE BROUGHT BEFORE A HIGHER AUTHORITY. YOU ARE REMEMBERD THIS DAY AND WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. MAY YOU REST IN PEACE.

YOU ARE REMEMBERED TODAY AND THANK YOU SIR FOR YOUR SERVICE. AS ALWAYS THIS WRITER IS DISAPPOINTED WHEN JUSTICE CANNOT BE SERVED ON BEHALF OF LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICE OFFICERS THAT GIVE THEIR LIVES. YOU ARE A HERO SIR JUST BY THE PROFESSION YOU CHOSE.
