Reflections for Sheriff William H. Pascoe
This is my Great Great Grandfather, his daughter Annabelle being my Great Grandmother. His name and story live on in Sonoma County CA. I think there is a a whole lot of adventurer and commitment to community that he imparted to his progeny. Thank you for keeping a site that honors those who lost their lives doing the right thing.

William Pascoe is my great, great, great, great grandfather. He is the only other person I now know in my family that was a police officer.

I have received a collection of cartoon cutouts that have Ruth Pascoes name on them. Would like to find family to share with.

Sheriff William H. Pascoe was my great grandfather whom I never had the opportunity to meet. It has been difficult gathering information, however, he is also listed in a book that I can't find: "The Great Northern Mines." If anyone knows where our family can purchase this book I would welcome an e-mail. After the Grass Valley incident, our Pascoe family then moved to Honolulu, Hawaii where my father was born and raised, one of three brothers-William, John, and Charles, my father.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 119th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.
