Policeman Partin - Incredible...your father was taken from you, killed in the line-of-duty, seven years earlier. Then your loss. Too much for one family to bear. I hope, sir, that you're resting in peace and that you and your dad will be ready to show us around upon our arrival - if we're found worthy, that is.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 82nd anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. What tragedy your family endured to have your father also killed in the line of duty, yet your descendents are still dedicating their lives to protecting and serving others. What a wonderful legacy you and your father left.

Though my uncle Charlie left this world before I was born he left his mother, brother and sisters who shared many loving memories of him with me. Be certain that he was loved and never forgotten.
