Your heroism and service is honored today, the 87th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

I would like to thank the person who updated my grandfather's memorial. I have learned more about his heroics through this website, and so will my father. My father was only 2 1/2 when he was killed. Thank you to those who left reflections also. And thanks to all the Men and Women who have died protecting our country.
