Daddy,
It's hard to believe it's been 50 years and it still feels like yesterday. Know you have been missed everyday, and our love for you has never faded.

Dear grandfather,
I visit this page frequently, because I remember your son, my father, telling me about how amazing you were even though you were not in his life very long. I wanted to let you know that even though I never met you, that I am thankful for your service, and that you are a hero to me. Also, I feel sad that now both of your sons are resting with you, my dad and my uncle. Knowing that all of you are now in heaven, and looking down on all of us means a lot to me. I'm proud to be the granddaughter of a hero like yourself. Thank You for your duty, and rest in peace.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 44th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

I am sorry I have only recently found this page or mine would have been here first.
Even if you were not with us long you are spoken of or thought of daily. We have missed you each and everyday since you left us. Everyone should know exactly what you left behind.
We Love You Daddy.

Officer Parr,
No Officer should be without a reflection. I would like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of the state of Florida. There is no tougher job in Law Enforcement than that of a Corrections Officer.
