Your heroism and service is honored today, the 66th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never dimishes respect. Your memory will always be remembered and revered.
Rest In Peace

I saw your name from the police memorial Wall month after month on an ad in the American Police Beat Magazine. The 1st time I remember seeing it was early 2003. I made a trip to Washington D.C. in 2004 and sought out your spot on the Wall to pay tribute to you and the many before you and the many after you. It's an honor to share the same last name as you. Thank you....You have been remembered, and will never be forgotten
