Reflections for Police Officer Ralph Allen Ablanedo

Well my friend it will have been 29 years this May, 2007. That was truly a night from hell. I will never forget, Stan and I had checked by with you earlier in the evening, you waved us, it was just another routine night.....until. One day we will all have a grand reunion. Rest in Peace my friend..

26 years ago today Officer Ablanedo lost his life in the never ending pursuit of justice. All of our duty shifts this day are dedicated to this hero. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family, friends and fellow Officers of Officer Ablanedo. He will never be forgotten by us.

My husband is a traffic officer for Dallas County. I worry so much about him driving the Crown Vic, as it has mechanical problems that has led to other officers' deaths. I pray for your family, friends, and fellow officers every day. Rest easy, they are on call..

I am not sure how to start off. I know the hurt this family must have gone through. I have heard the stories many times. It was my step-uncle who killed this officer. It was before I was born. Now I am 17 and I want to be a cop. I accually hadn't found much about my uncles doings until I started at an Explorer Post to start my career in law enforcement.
I just want to say to the family, I am very sorry for what has happened. My grandparents have suffered as well for the awful doings of my uncle.
