On today, the 90th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country-not just as a Law Enforcement Officer but also when you served with the U.S. Army-especially during World War I.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 79th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Special Agent Oursler, on this sad 76th anniversary of your murder I wish to thank you for your efforts on behalf of the citizens of the United States. Though the fate of your assailant is not listed and may not ever be known, we can only hope he/she faced true justice for the crime, if not in this life, then in the next. You have not been forgotten.
