Your heroism and service is honored today, the 83rd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Rest In Peace

Policeman Ohle - Three Fridays ago, on a very rainy morning, I stood in the State Assembly chambers when your name was one of almost 250 read off during a motion regarding next month's Peace Officers Memorial Week. You are not forgotten.

Thank you for your service to the people of the City of Denver and the State of Colorado.

May God grant you eternal rest and may His perpetual light shine upon you.

You were my grandfather's uncle and he has shared the memory of you often with all of his grandchildren and speaks so highly of your honor. It is such a pleasure to hear stories of such a great man and the level of service that you dedicated to your city. My grandfather turns 90 in 2 weeks from today and still recants stories of you and your death as if it was just yesterday.

Patrolman Ohle,
On today, the 80th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Denver. It took another two years, but your murderer finally got the justice that he deserved.
