My husband , James Joseph O’Brien named after his grandfather, also who chose to work in the field as aLEO, patrolman at BI PD BI, IL 75-79 then as Sr SPL Agent ‘79-20 13 BNSF RR passed away 3-31-20 .
Jim now rest with his grandparents, parents and siblings at Holy Sepulchre .

My husband, your namesake, James Joseph O'Brien also was a patrolman, Blue Island, Il then onto Special Agent BNSF RR Cicero, IL, Centralia, IL, Memphis, TN now retired Olive Branch, MS
Jim's dad, Joseph & his siblings grew up without a father and Jim didn't get to meet his namesake but was always proud that he had a grandfather that worked to protect & serve. I think it especially wonderful that Jim grew up & had that same desire to be in Law Enforcement.
We always visit his grandfather's grave when we go up north. RIP PATROLEMAN JAMES JOSEPH O'BRIEN

My husband is namesake, James Joseph O'Brien also was a policeman, Blue Island, Il then went onto to be Special Agent with Burlington Northern RR., Cicero Il, Centralia IL, Memphis TN is now retired, living in Olive Branch, MS
Jim's dad, Joseph, & fm never got to know their father growing up and Jim missed on meeting his namesake. He is very honored that he was named after his grandfather and also chose to work in Law Enforcement.
We always visit your gravesite when we visit up north. RIP

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 84th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. You will always be remembered and revered.
