My uncle. I never knew him. Died a year before I was born. Had never seen a picture of him. Sounds like he was a really nice guy and a very good officer. Couldn't be prouder.

From my childhood in Tomahawk, I retain sweet memories of Officer Nystrom walking Wisconsin Avenue, smiling and greeting people. One day a friend and I set up a lemonade stand between two buildings on the Avenue. We sold one glass of lemonade that day……..to Officer Nystrom, of course.

Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.
Thank you for your heroism.
GOD Bless

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 67th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace
