Police Officer Bruce Niedoborski was killed when his patrol car struck a semi-truck head-on in the 4600 block of South Halsted Street.

Officer Niedoborski was a Vietnam War veteran and had served with the Chicago Police Department for seven years. He was survived by his daughter and parents.
