Joseph Tucker Fisher

Detective Fisher was shot and killed while serving a narcotics search warrant at an apartment complex.

Another officer and the suspect, 22, were shot and wounded. The officer, 26, was hospitalized in critical condition. The suspect was charged with capital murder and sentenced to life plus thirty years in prison. As of December 15, 2022, he was in Cummins Prison.

Detective Fisher had been with the Little Rock Police Department for 12 years. He was survived by his two daughters.

HOWEVER I OFTEN THINK ABOUT HOW WE ALL TRIED TO MAKE ROOKIE SCHOOL FUN.
I KNOW YOU MET MY ARKANSAS BRIDE, SHE WAS THE REASON I APPLIED TO THE DEPARTMENT, WE HAD 3 BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTERS OF COURSE THEY ARE CAREER WOMEN NOW, BUT I ONLY HAD THE OLDEST BACK THEN.

I LOST MY WIFE TO A CARDIAC ARREST ON FATHER'S DAY 2000, I HAVE FELT THE SORROW THAT YOUR FAMILY FELT WHEN THEY LOST YOU.
REST WE'LL MY FRIEND, AFTER ALL THESE YEARS YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN, THAT MEANS YOU LIVE ON IN THOSE YOUR PRESCIENCE TOUCHED.
