I first met Steve while hanging out at D&M Gun World in Titusville Florida. Through Steve my interest in a career in law enforcement grew. Steve along with Joe George, Doug Massey and Lucy Cruz were the reasons I followed the Law Enforcement path. I am now retired and a survivor of a 32 year Law Enforcement career. 11 years at the Brevard County Sheriff's Office as a Deputy followed by 21 years as a Senior Special Agent with US Customs/HSI. I was truely shocked on the evening I learned of Steve's sacrifice. Imagine....the event took place on my Birthday. I hope he is with God. I owe him thanks for his influence in my career path. He will be rembered always !
