Policeman Edward Holtry succumbed to head injuries sustained several days earlier when he slipped off of a patrol wagon in front of the police station at Front Street and Westmoreland Street on December 26th, 1920.
Policeman Holtry was assigned to the 30th District and had served with the agency for 13 years and was assigned to the 30th District. He was survived by his wife and child.
