To my cousin and Brother in Blue. This week was my first experience representing my agency as an honor guard member at the annual Texas Police Officer Memorial ceremony in Austin. I was overcome with emotions by what the ceremony meant, and even more emotions after seeing your name on the memorial wall. Gone but never forgotten. I will carry you in my thoughts and prayers as I try to continue your legacy of serving and protecting the community. Rest easy brother. We have the watch from here.
