Francis Leo Haley

Private Francis Haley was shot and killed while he attempted to arrest a man wanted for bank robbery. The suspect was convicted of murder and executed on November 30, 1924.

Private Haley was a U.S Army veteran of WWI and had served with the Pennsylvania State Police for five months. He was survived by his mother.

On today, the 100th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice-not just as a Law Enforcement Officer but for our Country as well when you served with the U.S. Army during World War I.
