You were MY Hero, My Angel, you gently talked to me, you carefully told me exactly what I needed to hear. That YOU were there and that I was SAFE now. You shielded my view & you brought me to safety. I clung to you, and you let me. I survived mentally because of you; time took care of the rest. You waited patiently until I could tell the story because I wouldn't talk to many, you stayed and held my hand. You were gentle, kind, compassionate and so very caring. I grew up but before I could say another Thank You as an adult, you were gone, taken from all of us. I have NEVER forgotten YOU, I NEVER will & Every Year on my birthday I send you a heartfelt hug. YOUR STILL MY HERO...
