Police Officer Dennis Gorlewski was killed in a motorcycle crash while conducting an escort.
He was traveling through the intersection of S 35th Street and W National Avenue when a semi-trailer struck him. The semi-trailer collided with another truck, which caused Officer Gorlewski to be pinned between the two semi trucks.
Officer Gorlewski had served with the Milwaukee Police Department for 26 years. He was survived by his wife and two children and one grandchild.
