View all 10 ReflectionsThomas Egan was my grand uncle and our family has always been proud of his service and sacrifice. My father used to tell stories he had heard from the early Chicago gangster days and those were scary and tough times for all the police officers. They truly put their lives on the line.........everyday. Thank you uncle Thomas and thank you Chicago police for your service to this community and for not fogetting your fallen!
