Charles S. Dorrian

Trooper Charles Dorrian died when his motorcycle slid off a wet roadway and struck a concrete guidepost on Route 22 near Kenisco Dam at 8:20 a.m.

It is presumed the heavy fog attributed to him losing traction on the road while navigating a curve. He was transported to White Plains Hospital, where he died from internal injuries.

Trooper Dorrian was a United States Coast Guard veteran and had served with the New York State Police for nine years. He was survived by his wife, daughter, and mother.
