Most Recent Reflection
View all 14 ReflectionsI was the first responder that got the call to respond to Officer Ferguson and tragically his injuries were fatal and there was nothing that could possibly be done to save his life. ive long since retired from Ems but just like so many others that have had long careers in service you carry certain memories with you daily. Officer Ferguson is one of my memories that I often reflect on , not because of the manner in which he died but rather the impact it had on his family, our community, and the small department that Officer Ferguson represented. Each time I drive through our small city I can't help to think that Officer Ferguson is still watching over us. it was an honor to have known Officer Ferguson and its an honor to call his surviving brothers friends in which I often visit with and share memories.
