View all 21 ReflectionsJust completed a 3.5 mile run (I believe you were a 31 unit but I wanted to cover all my bases) in your name, Sir. The station is now situated where homes reportedly were once, during your tenure here..... Before the founding of Marina Del Rey Station (the station that covers the area you were responding to)......
Before the 105 Fwy came to be......
Before the iconic Lethal Weapon movie was filmed.....
Near where Dixie's house blew up in that memorable scene.
A lots changed but we still remember you and your EOW. Trainees stand from a coveted bench to read your obituary and each shift observes a moment of silence in your honor at the start of each shift.
Your time here ended too soon but your memory lives on..... And it always will.
RIP Sir. Thank you for paving the way .....
