Rest in Peace brother Ranger. Your incredible sacrifice wasn't in vain, and you live on not only through your family, but the family that you saved, and the countless people that you no doubt touched throughout your career.

Your lifetime of service and dedication to protecting the outdoors is something I strive to live up to. Heaven must have needed a Ranger; we'll continue the patrol from here.
