View all 91 ReflectionsTonight, my 8 year old son and his Trail Life group toured the Richland County Sheriff's Department. We were honored to have Deputy Salrin's sister, Master Deputy Salrin, lead us on the tour. Our group paused as Master Deputy Salrin showed our troop the Wall of Honor in place to remember the fallen of the Richland County Sheriff's Department. My heart was heavy to learn Master Deputy Salrin's brother was part of the Wall of Honor. My continued prayers are with Deputy Jacob Salrin's family as they continue to remember him and continue to miss him dearly. I live nearby where he was killed in this tragic accident and I think of him often as I drive by the "Deputy Sheriff Jacob Eric Salrin Memorial Way" named in his honor and memory. Thank you Deputy Salrin for your service and we continue to pray for all of his family.
