Deputy Sheriff Walter Hall succumbed to injuries sustained from a vehicle crash while transporting a suspect to Tuscaloosa.

Deputy Hall had served with the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office for nine years. He was survived by his wife, daughter, son, brother, and sister.
