View all 139 ReflectionsI am Jarid Taylor's sister. I am in the process of creating his second memorial slowpitch softball tournament, the first time being 'in charge' of doing a tournament without him (aka, it was really him in charge - he knew what he was doing way better than I do!)... I was struggling with words to find when writing the description of the tournament - there's so much to say, but of course, you can't say it all. So, I looked up his name for some assistance. I stumbled upon this website with all of these kind words. While it makes me so happy to see everyone in prayer and keeping our family in mind, it still breaks my heart that he is not here. Maybe that's why I lack in finding words - nothing would be enough to describe him or his contribution to this world in just a few quick sentences. I miss my older brother, my best friend, my confidant, every day... nothing will ever quite be or feel the same without him physically here in our lives. But even so, I deeply thank the people behind the scenes we may not think about being there for us, even when we don't necessarily realize it. Your kind words and prayers lift us up, and encourage the reminder that he is continuously thought about and remembered for who he was.
Thank you all.
