Police Officer Russell Long suffered a fatal heart attack while assisting other officers disperse a crowd at Philadelphia Municipal Stadium following the Catholic League high school football championship game.

Officer Long had served with the Philadelphia Police Department for eight years. He was survived by his father and sister.
