View all 10 ReflectionsMy father was a fellow officer on the Schofield PD along with Officer Braun. I was 9 years old and vividly remember another officer from a neighboring department stopping by our house that Christmas Eve to tell my dad the horrible news that Officer Braun had been killed.
Dad retired in 2001 after serving on the force for 31 years. He passed away in 2017.
Rest in peace and thank you for your service, officers. You are not forgotten!
