Frank Williams

Patrolman Frank Williams died as the result of blood poisoning, which he contracted when he injured his knee while chasing a suspected thief 10 days earlier.

He was chasing the subject through a dark alley when he injured his leg.

Patrolman Williams served with the Chicago Police Department for less than three years. He was assigned to the Thirty-Fifth Street Station and is buried at Saint James at Sag Bridge Church Cemetery in Sag Bridge, Illinois. He was survived by his wife and four children.
